Through their eyes - Buenos Aires

More Argentina... This time fabulous Buenos Aires

Taking a walk in utterly fascinating and super fun Mercado de San Telmo... The people watching here cannot be beat... We loved going through all the stalls and hunting for little treasures. We snacked our way through it too (Let me tell you, it was quite of bit of snacking, it is quite long).

One of our many stops... This Choripan stand was the Bomb

Taking a stroll from Plaza de Mayo toward la Casa Rosada and witnessing the change of the guard - La Casa Rosada is usually fenced off to the public but for some reason, it was open on this day... Beautiful square and the change of the guard was great to watch

Visiting Cemetery La Recoleta - Totally random sighting: I saw this guy there (he is even better looking in person...) Yes, I will tell all those that are willing to listen...

Paying our respect to Argentina's favorite daughter: Evita Peron

Strolling super fun and colorful, El Caminito... We bargain-shopped there too. So excited about my find!

Taking the Buenos Aires tourist bus... Beautiful sites all around
Ministry of Health
Gorgeous Teatro Colon - We attended a concert here. It was lovely!

Beautiful street art everywhere
Famous Avenida 9 de Julio and the Obelisk - The widest avenue in the world
El Ateneo - Would you look at this library? Simply gorgeous

A fun treat from our friend Maria... And a great experience we will not soon forget... Simply amazing... Fuerza Bruta (Centro Cultural Recoleta)

Ok, let's talk about the food, it was incredible... Our friend Maria (and her mom) spoiled us rotten with all of our favorites: Empanadas, medialunas, choripan, parrillas, fresh pastas, ice creams (oh my God the ice cream was amazing!!!). We took breaks for cafe and alfajores (the maizena ones were my favorite) everytime we could. We especially loved Cafe Tortoni... An institution in Buenos Aires
I'm telling you... Our dearest friend rolled out the red carpet for us... We had the best time anybody can ask for. Thank you Maria!!!! I hope you can make it to visit us this year.

I can't wait to go back to Argentina, though. So many places to visit there. Good time to be had everywhere you go... Let the wonderlusting begin.

This wraps up our last adventure of the year 2016. Could not imagine a better way to end the year? I think not.
