Through their eyes - Marco Island FL

Here is a look at the kids' favorite activities while visiting Marco Island, FL with family to receive the  new year.

Boating with uncle Leo

Castle making and shell hunting

Visiting Shark Valley at the Everglades National Park (see our last visit to the Everglades here)

Plenty of alligator spotting

But the birding... So abundant

Hanging out at the pool

Enjoying all the delicious food - We started our days with arepas, yum!

Teaching the next generation about the Venezuelan new year's traditions... Because, how are you supposed to hope for more travel unless you walk around the block with a suitcase...  (There, now you know our little secret). And the grapes? 12 grapes for 12 months for 12 wishes, Oh yeah... All bases are covered
We had fun with this silly bunch... Let's do this again... Soon!

I hope you got to enjoy the holiday season. We got hit by the flu but managed to get better before our little getaway. We really needed this time to recharge and recoup after the craziness of Christmas.
