"A portrait of my children, once a week, every week."
Currently reading...

He: Diary of a Wimpy Kid

She: The Diary of Anne Frank. I read this book when I was 13... Is it too early for my 11-year-old to start reading it? She seems into it so far.

How about that? They are both reading some kind of a diary... I think she'll get more out of it, Oh yeah, she will.

Hey, Thanksgiving this week, can you believe it? Oh my... You know what that means, right? Christmas is just around the corner. Bring the parties, lunches, cookie exchanges... The gym is going to see lots of me so I'm able to pull it through. Lord have mercy.

Hanging on to the last bits of Fall... Cold fronts have been hitting us earlier than usual this year. The kids are holding on to the pretty fall days by doing some hiking and putt-putting with their dad while I am gone for my weekend away with girlfriends. Everybody is happy, it all about the balance, is it not?

Fall is so pretty here in the South. Check out some pictures from my weekend away in my Instagram feed

Have a great week everybody!

The changes a week can bring...

He: Sick as a dog for a whopping total of one day (I kid you not)... Ha, if only my colds lasted that long.

She: Warming up by the fire after a particularly cold day. Winter is just around the corner.

Happy week everybody. Stay healthy wherever you are!

"A portrait of my children, once a week, every week."

This week, it was all about Halloween festivities!

He: My easy going kid decided to break his third year straight of being a ninja in order to be a boxer for Halloween (bonus... He had everything already so I did not have to brave the store, oh mercy). Daddy took the opportunity to do some reflex practicing before hitting the street in the hunt for candy... Oh boy, this year's loot was out of control.

She: Carving a pumpkin is a serious business... It requires lots of concentration. My artist daughter, where could she possibly get this from?

Happy week everybody. Stay warm wherever you are!
