Girls' day out

While the husband and the littlest were attending a Karate seminar in NYC, my daughter and I went to town for a full day of fun... Here are some pictures from our adventure:

We went to the Top of the Rock (a great alternative to the long lines of the Empire State Building - No lines at all, and of course, great views)
Cupcakes from Magnolia Bakery (the best cupcakes in the world - Devil's food cake with caramel cream cheese frosting, YUM!)
Munching on delicious food and window shopping at the 6th Avenue Market Fair
Riding bicycles in Central Park - We explored the whole park... It was incredible. I can't wait to do it again but next time with the whole family.

This little girl of mine is a tough cookie... She came down with a cold on our way to NY and needless to say, she was not feeling all that hot... I gave her some medicine which made her feel a lot better but at the end of our fun day, she was ready to come back to the apartment and just rest. Dinner plans with the husband and his friends had to be canceled so, I picked up some Shake Shack and came back to the apartment for a long session of TV watching (The Lady and the Tramp and Aladdin...) We all went to bed early... We were all beat at the end of the day...
