Menu for the week

Fetuccini with white Bolognese - Recipe from here/Salad
15 bean soup/salad
Stuffed Portobellos mushrooms/salad
Risotto Primavera/Salad

Breakdown:
Walmart/Aldi $36
Costco $21


My friend Kristin is hosting a tapas party this weekend. It's going to be so much fun as we will be cooking, eating and mingling all at the same time. And the kids, you ask? They will be there playing and running around while we have some adult time. In case you are wondering I will be making tortilla espanola, pan con tomate and sangria.

  1. come on, it cannot be the salad from the garden --- I know Georgia climate is favorable for veggies, but not THAT quick!

  2. We just planted our garden last week...So, not vegetables...Just yet. We are starting small this year (tomatoes, cucumber and peppers). We'll try more in the following years. Until then, I buy organic field greens or baby spinach. My way to force our family to have salad with every meal. By the way, the stuffed portobellos are awesome! Come over anytime.
