Kids + Paris = Fun

If you ever thought about taking your kids along on a trip to Paris (we are... I talked about it here), but hesitated because you thought that Paris might not be a kid friendly city, think again. I came across this posting about kid friendly activities for the whole family that I thought I should pass along to you. We already planned to do a lot of the activities mentioned on the post but there is some really good information. So, Check it out. Really, there is no reason why you could not enjoy one of the most amazing cities in the world with your kids in tow.

  1. That's great Elena.
Good to hear that Sandinette & Sandboy will be there...
You'll have a terrific time in Paris... Although it is sometimes hard to predict what the weather will be like EO May, it happens that it is really beautiful; you may then enjoy the "jets d'eau" as on the picture from the linked blog.

  2. Sounds like a lot of fun for everyone, Elena. Allow a few days to get acclimated to the time difference, and the kids will be ready to explore the new sights, sounds, smells and tastes of Paris. My kids travelled quite a bit when they were about the age of yours. My youngest has faint memory of some of the travel, so we have to do it all over again. It's only fair.

  3. I'm proud to say that, at age 6, Sandinette has stepped foot into 8 different countries, and Sandboy 6. The boy is still a little young to appreciate what's going on, but Sandinette is already anticipating eating crepes, is using the Eiffel Tower as the subject for school writing projects, and is playing "French Restaurant" at the dinner table. We don't exactly travel for their sakes - we do it for us - but we make sure to make it special for them as well. Lots of picnics in the parks, visits to castles and gardens, and plenty of whatever treats the locals like.
